Bio: God is the CEO of my life. God knows exactly how much you can handle, trust your struggle. Following God means sometimes waiting when you want to act and sometimes acting when you want to wait. Consider the fact that God is a God who doesn’t turn His back on you when you fail Him, but opens His arms a little wider.
My daily prayer God, in all things, not my will; but Your will be done!
I am a mother of one son. I am an employee of the Mississippi State Department of Health. My interests are: cooking, scrapbooking, traveling, reading, writing, spending time with family and friends, watching TV, going to the movies, listening to music, visiting historical sites, and blogging.
I prefer peace and harmony over drama of any kind. I am usually cautious and calculate risks carefully before acting. I am generally patient, reasonably calm, giving, caring, observant, energetic, not easily discouraged, and a good listener.
I enjoy the company of positive peoples and I enjoy my privacy. I am focused and cautious. I believe that proper preparations are often what get the job done. I am generally well-organized. For the most part, I keep my promises and I expect others to do the same. I can be very friendly and also relatively direct. I am guided by rationale on the one hand and circumstances on the other hand.
I know what I want and I will strive to achieve my goals. In love, in life, in friendship, and in your career; when it’s right, you’ll know. It would be nice if people were open and honest about their feelings and their motives, but unfortunately for the most part, people in general are not. So there will be some trials and errors and some mistakes, we need to learn from our mistakes and move forward. It’s really sad when we don’t. If you live for the approval of others, you will die from their rejection.
It hurts the worst when the person that made you feel so special yesterday, makes you feel so unwanted today. Allow yourself to grieve the loss and the hurt, and then move on. Being bitter and set on revenge will not end well. Forgive yourself and the person who hurt you so that you can heal. Being kind to people who haven’t been kind to you is a sign of great maturity and grace and not a sign of weakness.
Most of my adult life, I have tried to live healthy. Our health is mainly due to genetics and lifestyles. We have very little control over genetics, but we do have control over our lifestyles. I have noticed that when I’m stressed or feeling down; I eat more and gain weight which depresses. I am a work in progress. We need to make up in our minds to eat healthy and exercise and meditate daily so that we can live a long, healthy, and happy life.
Learn to love your body… it’s the only one you have! Self-love is the best love after God’s love… love yourself!
